Parliament's budget session to begin today
New Delhi: The Budget session of the Indian Parliament will begin from Friday by following strict COVID-19 restrictions.
The budget will be presented on Feb 1.
The session is expected to continue till the first week of April.
The session is expected to be stormy with the opposition leaders expected to target the government over the contentious farm laws amid the ongoing farmers' protest.
President Ram Nath Kovind will address the members of both houses seated in three locations to begin the session of the Parliament.
However, 16 opposition parties have planned to boycott the President's address in solidarity with protesting farmers against the new farm laws.
