Parliament adjourned after repeated ruckus

New Delhi, Mar 1 (IBNS) After repeated noisy scenes and ruckus, the Lok Sabha, lower house of Parliament, was adjourned till 2 pm on Tuesday.

Rajya Sabha was adjourned too for 15 minutes.

Lok Sabha was adjourned after a ruckus by AIADMK lawmakers over Karti Chidambaram, son of P Chidambaram, and Congress over privilege motion.

Accusing Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani of misleading the Parliament floor, the opposition earlier protested in the Houses on Tuesday, resulting in their brief adjournment.

Both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha experienced ruckus from the opposition as two separate instances were protested by the opposition who demanded justice.

Opposition leaders said that Irani made false claims about Rohith Vemula when she said that nobody allowed a doctor near his body.

The opposition also protested against BJP leader Ram Shankar Katheria, whose comment on Monday that there's 'conspiracy against Hindus' created a row.
