Pakistani Rangers target Indian post in North Kashmir, soldier killed

Srinagar, Oct 27 (IBNS): Two soldiers from 6 Ghadwal were critically wounded while one of them later on succumbed to his injuries after Pakistani Rangers attacked security forward post in Tangdhar sector of North Kashmir's Kupwara district, police said.

A police official said  that Hawaldar Pradeep Bhandari (408138-K) was critically injured while rifleman Sandeep Singh (40972464) died in the hospital.

According to police, Pakistani Rangers resorted to indiscriminate firing on the security men posted at Tanghdar forward post.

“Both the soldiers belonged to 6 Ghadwal,” he added.
