Jammu, May 6 (UNI) Pakistani Army on Monday yet again violated the ceasefire for the fifth consecutive day along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Pakistani troops this afternoon at around 1445 hours fired unprovoked and violated the ceasefire in Krishna Ghati Sector of Poonch," defence spokesman here said.

He said that Pakistan initiated unprovoked Ceasefire violation by shelling with artillery and firing of small arms along LoC in Krishna Ghati Sector.

"Indian Army is befittingly retaliating to the cross border firing," he added.

On Sunday, Pakistan violated the ceasefire in KG and Keri sectors in which four persons including an army officer sustained injuries.
