Earlier on March 15, a civilian woman died in cross border firing in Shahpur sector of Poonch.

On Oct 11 an Army jawan suffered injuries as Pakistan Army violated the ceasefire agreement by resorting to unprovoked firing and shelling along the Line of Control in Rajouri district.

The jawan later succumbed.
