P Chidambaram slams PM Modi govt over jobs

| @indiablooms | Mar 09, 2019, at 05:07 pm

New Delhi, Mar 9 (UNI/IBNS): Former finance minister P Chidambaram on Saturday attacked the Narendra Modi government for its alleged 'failure' in creating job opportunities as promised.

In a series of tweets, the senior Congress leader said, 'the top three issues in the elections will be jobs, jobs and jobs.'

Congress has been alleging that the Modi government has failed to meet its promise of creating 2 crore jobs every year.

'What is worse? Not creating jobs or lying about creation of jobs? NDA Government is guilty of both,' said he.

Chidambaram added, 'Glad that CII has found its voice and has exposed the government's bogus claims on job creation. Hope that others also will speak up.'
