Overnight exchange of fire along LoC following Pak attack
Jammu, Aug 3 (IBNS) An overnight exchange of fire took place in four different sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir after Pakistani rangers resorted to unprovoked firing on Indian posts in yet another violation of ceasefire.
The exchange of fire ended on Monday morning, reports said.
The firing began around 9.30 pm in Krishnagati, Mandi, Balakote, and Palanwala sectors prompting Indian forces to retaliate.
The Pakistani forces used small arms and automatic weapons.
