Srinagar, Nov 13 (IBNS): Reacting to the accusations leveled by Syed Ali Geelani, former Chief Minister and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah Monday said that hypocrisy is the trait of the senior Kashmiri separatist leader.

"Can Geelani show me his reaction to the Pak PM who has repeated many times recently that Azadi is not an option for Kashmir? Hypocrisy is a Geelani trait,” Omar Abdullah tweeted.

He was reacting to the tweet posted by a Delhi based newspaper that Geelani has slamed Fraooq Abdullah for his remark.

Geelani asked senior Abdullah to revisit the annals of history as “he is speaking against the wishes and aspiration of people”.

Omar, in his another tweet, said while Farooq Abdullah's ancestors were engaged in Kashmir struggle, Geelani was fighting elections and aliging with the then Janata Party.

"Yes, while Farooq Abdullah’s ancestors were engaged in a struggle this man was fighting elections & cosying up to Janata Party," Omar wrote on Twitter.
