Nowgam in south Kashmir sees fresh violence on Tuesday

Srinagar, Aug 23 (IBNS): Fresh protests have erupted in the the Nowgam area of Shopian district in south Kashmir on Tuesday, according to media sources.

Protesters were seen to clash with police and security forces.

Several people have been injured in the clashes, media reported.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be in Jammu and Kashmir for a two-day visit starting on Wednesday.
