Noted steady progress in our ties, tweets S Jaishankar after meeting South Korean FM Park Jin

New Delhi: Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has met visiting South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin and said he had a wide-ranging conversation with him.

" Warm and wide ranging conversation with @FMParkJinof Republic of Korea," Jaishankar tweeted.

"Noted steady progress in our ties. Discussed political contacts, trade & investments, defense, S&T, energy, space, semiconductors, emerging technologies and cultural exchanges," he said.

"Also shared perspectives of our neighborhoods, our visions and policies in the Indo-Pacific and the Ukraine conflict. Agreed to cooperate closely on global and multilateral issues," Jaishankar tweeted.

"Discovered that the language skills of Koreans are as good as their dancing!!" he said.

The South Korean minister is visiting India from Apr 7 to Apr 8.
