Bulandshahr, July 31 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, a woman from Noida and her 14-year-old daughter were allegedly dragged out of their car and then gang-raped by a group of five men near a highway in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr on Friday, media reports said.

The mother-daughter duo along their family were travelling to Shahjahanpur in UP on Friday night when the incident happened.

As they entered Bulandshahr, their car was attacked with a blunt object.

With the car stopping, the group of five men allegedly dragged the family to a nearby field and looted their cash, jewellery and mobile phones.

After these, the accused tied the men of the family with ropes and raped the woman and her daughter.

One of the man managed to unite the ropes and then reported the matter at a nearby police station in the next morning.

So far, no one have been arrested.

A top police official in the area has been suspended.

To nab the accused, a special investigation team has been formed.
