No decision on imposing lockdown in Goa yet: CM Pramod Sawant

Panaji/UNI: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday said that no decision was taken on imposing lockdown in the state in view of rising Covid 19 cases.

Speaking to reporters, he said, "We are taking precautions. We are monitoring the situation in Goa. Awareness is being created by police and district administration."

"We have issued advisories and requested people of the state as well as those coming from other states to follow them. Our attempt is to bring the situation under control," he said.

Meanwhile, the state reported 247 new cases of Covid 19 which increased the active caseload to 2180.
