Nitish Kumar is spineless and most coward CM of the country: Tejashwi Yadav

| @indiablooms | Mar 20, 2018, at 04:57 pm

Patna, Mar 20 (IBNS): Training his gun at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has said the former is spineless and the most coward CM of the country.

Tejashwi made the comment in the context of the JD(U)'s defeats in the by-polls in Bihar.

Tejashwi said in a tweet, "Ultimately Nitish Kumar accepted my claim that He was under strong pressure from BJP to fight by-election despite knowing he wud lose the election. Earlier he had denied to fight considering our strong position. That’s why I say he is spineless & most coward CM of the country."

Lalu Prasad's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) had won both Araria Lok Sabha and Jehanabad Assembly seats in recent by-polls.

The JD(U), which was a part of the grand alliance with RJD and Congress since 2015, had jumped to the BJP's ship in 2017.

Tejashwi was the second man in Nitish-led government between 2015-2017.

Meanwhile, Nitish has once again raised his voice against the BJP-ruled central government over the demands of a special status for Bihar.

Speaking to media on Monday, Kumar said he has not given up the demand since he first raised the issue in 2005.

Kumar said he has never compromised with issues like 'corruption'.

He added: "I will never compromise with those trying to divide the society."
