Patna/UNI: Expressing concern over the crimes allegedly triggered by pornographic content, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today demanded the Centre to put blanket ban on porn sites.

While continuing his “Jal-Jivan-Hariyaali” march , Mr Kumar said in Gopalganj that porn sites were affecting the mental condition of the youth in an adverse manner and should be banned immediately.

Mr Kumar said that he will be writing a letter to the Centre in this connection shortly.

Referring to the boon and bane of the technology, the CM said that some people were uploading the videos of their highly condemnable activities on the porn sites by misusing the technology.

He emphasized to sensitise and prevent the youth from indulging in such activities in the interest of the society and ensuring an environment for good mental development.
