Night curfew imposed in Delhi to contain Covid-19 pandemic

New Delhi/UNI: The Delhi government has imposed night curfew from 10 pm to 5 am with an immediate effect till Apr 30 to check the rising number of Covid-19 cases here.

The proposal to this effect was sent to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s office by top officials.

According to sources, essential services and emergency movement of vehicles will be allowed like in previous rounds of night curfew.

Delhi reported 3,548 new Covid-1919 cases, 2,936 recoveries, and 15 deaths on Monday.

With this, the total cases in the national capital reached 6,79,962, including 14,589 active cases.
