New Delhi to host Indo-Israel Innovation Conclave

New Delhi, July 24 (IBNS): The India- Israel Industrial R&D and Technological Innovation Conclave will be held on Tuesday in New Delhi.

The conclave will announce the recipients of the India-Israel Industrial R&D and Technological Innovation (I4) Fund (I4F).

The fund is a joint venture of Israel and India, agreed upon and announced during the prime ministerial visits, read an official statement issued by the Israel Embassy in India.

The 40 million USD fund aims to promote, facilitate and support industrial research and development between the two countries benefiting both people.

Earlier on July 24th, a I4F governing board met in Delhi to evaluate the progress of the venture. Tomorrow at the conclave in New Delhi with the participation of the Embassy of Israel, the recipients of the fund will be announced.

Ahead of the occasion, Ambassador Daniel Carmon said, “The fund is a unique platform designed to increase economic cooperation and boost research and development within both countries. India is quickly becoming a valued partner to Israel and the fund can play an effective role in taking the best out of Israeli and Indian entrepreneurs, make them work together and develop a solution that would fit and benefit both sides.”
