Delhi Police on Wednesday detained two protestors from outside Parliament for allegedly protesting with yellow colour smoke canisters, an official said here.

The duo, identified as Neelam (42) - a native of Red Square Market in Haryana's Hisaar - and Amol (25), an inhabitant of Maharashtra’s Latur, were allegedly protesting in front of Transport Bhavan with the smoke canisters.

According to the police, both have been detained and taken to the police station.

Meanwhile, in a serious security breach inside Parliament, two persons jumped from the Lok Sabha visitors’ gallery into the chamber while proceedings were on during Zero Hour.

Some MPs came outside the house and said that the two persons had yellow smoke canisters in their hands. \

This is a serious security breach, they said.

However, a police officer said: "As of now we don’t have any information with respect to those detained inside Parliament."
