NDA will not be able to repeat its 2014 performance: Babulal Marandi

| @indiablooms | May 19, 2019, at 10:06 pm

Ranchi, May 19 (UNI): Former Jharkhand chief minister and JVM (P) supremo Babulal Marandi today claimed that NDA will fail to repeat its 2014 performance and will remain way behind the majority mark even though most exit polls indicate otherwise.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here, Mr Marandi said NDA fought the elections in Jharkhand with no agenda and the situation was the same across the country.

He said NDA lacked courage to contest the polls on the issues which JVM(P) had raised during the polls, which indicated its failure.

Mr Marandi said that his party will win two Lok Sabh seats it had contested in the state, but accused the administration of helping the BJP.

He said that NDA will not be able to cross the 200 mark, and in Jharkhand their performance would be the worst.

Mr Marandi also expressed his gratitude towards the voters who turned out in large numbers to vote.
