NDA will bag all seats in Bihar: Ramvilas Paswan

Patna, May 6 (UNI): LJP president and Union Minister Ramvilas Paswan on Monday claimed that NDA would bag all 24 seats where polling was held till 5th phase of Lok Sabha elections in Bihar and it would also win the remaining 16 seats in last two phases of Lok Sabha elections in the state.

Paswan told media here that NDA was all set to win 24 seats where polling was held till 5th phase of Lok Sabha elections in Bihar and it would also easily register its victory in remaining 16 seats where polling would be held during 6th and 7th phases of Lok Sabha elections in the state.

The mood of the electorate towards NDA gave enough indication of result going into its favour, he remarked.

"Grand Alliance is nowhere in picture as its constituents were fighting against one other," LJP president said, adding that even Tejaswi Prasad Yadav and  Tej Pratap Yadav were also fighting against each other in RJD which also made the chances of Grand Alliance bleak in ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Minorities were also fed up with Grand Alliance as it had not given a ticket to minority candidate, he stressed.

Paswan said that Congress did not give a ticket to the son of sitting MP from Kishanganj Ashrarul Haque after his death which triggered resentment against the party among minorities.

Such kind of resentment would damage the prospect of Congress and other parties in Grand Alliance considerably, he said, adding that Congress would not succeed in improving its tally of 44 seats which the party had bagged in 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

Congress was struggling hard to retain its present strength in Lok Sabha, he quipped.
