New Delhi, Apr 4 (IBNS): National Democratic Alliance (NDA) lawmakers on Wednesday decided to forego their salary and allowances for 23 days in an attempt to protest the current impasse in Parliament caused by the oppositions' disruptions.

Union parliamentary affairs minister Ananth Kumar reportedly said the MPs of the NDA, including the ones from BJP and several of its allies, would give up their salary for the disrupted period of the Budget session.

Both houses of Parliament have witnessed disruptions in this Budget Session over CBSE paper leak, Cauvery issue and special status to Andhra Pradesh.

In fact the second phase of the budget session has almost been a washout so far.
