Navjot Singh Sidhu files nomination from Amritsar East

Amritsar/UNI: Punjab Congress President and former Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu filed his nomination papers from Amritsar East constituency on Saturday in the Punjab assembly elections.

Sidhu, a sitting MLA from Amritsar East seat, will face senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former Minister Bikram Singh Majithia.

The AAP has fielded social worker Jeevan Jyot Kaur from the seat.

Voting for assembly elections in Punjab will be held on February 20.
