Nation wants govt with clear mandate under Narendra Modi: Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi

| @indiablooms | May 12, 2019, at 08:09 pm

Kolkata, May 12 (UNI): India wants a government with a clear majority under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister and BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said here today.

'The country does not want Jugaad or Jod Tod Ki Sarkaar. The country wants Spasht Janadesh Ki Sarkaar (government with clear majority) under the leadership of Modi,' the Union Minister for Minority Affairs said at a press conference here. 'Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the credible brand of development and good governance,' he asserted, adding the last five years of the Narendra Modi-led Government had proved to be “years of performance, progress and prosperity”.

'Despite negative and obstructionist politics of the Opposition, the Modi Government has tirelessly and honestly worked for the welfare of every section of the society,' Naqvi maintained.

He said the prime minister had never allowed politics to come in the way of the country's progress. Without thinking about political gains or loss, Modi took bold decisions for the welfare of the nation. 'These decisions have proved that Narendra Modi is the name of a strong and credible personality who makes impossible things possible,' he asserted.

Naqvi said the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken several major reformist and bold steps such as demonetisation, GST, 10 per cent reservation to backward classes of general category, “Pradhanmantri Mudra Yojana”, “Ujjwala Yojana”, “Pradhanmantri Jan Dhan Yojana”, “Ayushman Bharat”.

These schemes and programmes have ensured “happiness in eyes and prosperity in life” of every needy, he added. Referring to the combined opposition he said earlier the “Gaali Gang” was abusing the prime minister but now they have started abusing EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines) also.

'This proves that these Opposition parties have surrendered even before the Lok Sabha election results are declared,' he remarked.

Naqvi said Modi has worked with commitment to make good governance as “Rashtraniti” and inclusive growth as “Rashtradharma”.

The “Gaali Gang” has crossed all limits while abusing him. The people of the country will teach a lesson on May 23rd to this “Gaali Gang” for abusing the prime minister, who is working tirelessly for dignity, security and prosperity of the country.

'On 23rd May, the arrogance of the feudal mindset of the Congress and some of their allies will disappear,' he observed.

The minister maintained that recognition of many political parties will be in danger after the Lok Sabha election results. 'That is why several political parties are more concerned about their existence than forming the government after the election results,' he said.

Naqvi said the "Modi Hatao Mandli" which had been assembled in Kolkata has now become "EVM Vilaap Mandli". These political parties have neither united before the elections nor will they unite after the election results because of their political self-interests. Referring to Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, the minister said Didi's “arrogance” will be wiped out on May 23.

'The Trinamool Congress wants to convert the governance into laboratory of anarchy. These people are trying to convert the legacy of Satyamev Jayate into the politics of Jhuthmev Jayate,' he said.
