New Delhi, May 3 (UNI) Hitting back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement that there have been

no major terror attacks in the country in past five years, the Congress on Friday said Mr Modi should tell what are the big attacks in comparison to Pathankot, Pulwama and Udhampur.

Addressing a press conference here, Congress leader Anand Sharma claimed that there has been 176 per cent rise in terror incidents during the present government' s tenure.

He said there have been 16 big attacks till December 2018 and the Prime Minister's statement was very surprising that there has been no big attack during his tenure.

''Were Pathankot, Pulwama, Udhampur not big attacks,'' the Congress leader questioned.

Sharma said Modi should tell what are the big attacks.
He said there has been a total of 1,706 terror incidents since 2014 in the country.

The Congress leader alleged that during the past five years, the Prime Minister has tried to create a divide in the society.
