Kohima, Mar 25 (UNI): Nagaland chief electoral officer Abhijit Sinha has requested all mobile service providers to monitor connectivity throughout the state and take all measures to improve their services.

The CEO today held a meeting with all the mobile service providers in the state at his office and the service providers were made aware of the poll date. They were asked to ensure that the networks were up, particularly from April 10 till the end of the polls.

Abhijit also conveyed that webcasting and offline videography would be implemented in about 450 polling stations.

He pointed out that for ensuring the success of webcasting, connectivity has to be sorted out properly. The service providers assured that they will take all the steps to improve connectivity, and at their own level ensure that there is no malfunction anywhere in the state.
