Modi said sale of Khadi has doubled ever since he made an appeal for it via his address on AIR.

"People took 'Selfie with Daughter' seriously and it was a huge success," said Modi.

"Lakhs of families have given up their gas subsidies. These are not rich people. This is also a silent revolution," the Prime Minister said referring to his earlier request asking those who can afford it to give up their gas subsidy.
