Murder of RSS worker, wife in Bengal barbaric: BJP

| @indiablooms | Oct 10, 2019, at 08:50 pm

New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Communications and Law & Justice and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday condemned the murder of a Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh worker, his pregnant wife and eight-year-old child in Bengal.

''Hope liberals will find the murders ghastly enough to empathize with the bereaved family if not condemn and criticise it outrightly,'' Prasad tweeted.

The allusion was to the alleged brutal murder of RSS worker Prakash Pal, his pregnant wife and their eight-year-old son in Murshidabad district.

Earlier, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kailash Vijayvargiya tweeted,'' What is this happening in your state Didi. What can be worse than this...?"

He alleged that the killings only show how law and order situation has deteriorated so much in All India Trinamool Congress-ruled state.

According to reports, the family lived in Jiaganj area of Murshidabad in West Bengal.

They were stabbed by unidentified miscreants with a sharp-edged weapon which was later recovered.

Police registered a case of murder and an investigation is underway.

BJP and RSS took out a protest march in Murshidabad on Thursday.
