Mumbai, Mar 20 (IBNS): Several apprentice students have stranded along the railway tracks between Matunga and Dadar stations in Mumbai over the demands of permanent jobs, media reports said.

The agitation has disrupted the functioning of the central railway between the two stations.

After hearing the news, the Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police personnel had reached the spot to clear the railway tracks and ensure the train services to resume.

The agitation began at 7 am on Tuesday.

Apart from office goers, several students are also affected due to the agitation.
