Moscow-Goa chartered flight lands in Gujarat's Jamnagar after bomb threat

Jamnagar/IBNS: A Goa-bound chartered flight from Moscow was diverted to Gujarat's Jamnagar after the Goa Air traffic controller received a bomb threat, officials said on Monday.

Jamnagar airport officials informed the media that the aircraft is in an isolation bay.

"Moscow-Goa chartered flight diverted to Jamnagar, Gujarat, after Goa ATC received a bomb threat. Aircraft is in isolation bay," Airport officials told news agency ANI.

The plane with 244 people on board landed safely at Jamnagar (defence) airport at 9:49 pm, reports said.

All passengers have been deboarded, he added.

A probe is underway to look into the bomb threat.
