Modi pays tributes to Jayprakash Narayan, Nanaji Deshmukh

New Delhi, Oct 11 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tributes to Loknayak Jayprakash Narayan and Nanaji Deshmukh on their birth anniversaries.

Releasing a statement, PM said: "Loknayak Jayprakash Narayan was a true nationalist who devoted his life to service and nation building. Tributes on his birth anniversary. JP`s call for `Sampoorna Kranti` galvanised the entire nation and played a historic role in preserving India`s democratic fabric."

He also paid rich tribute to Nanaji Deshmukh.

"Tributes to Nanaji Deshmukh on his birth anniversary. His organisation skills & efforts to serve society are a source of inspiration for us," Prime Minister said.
