Modi greets people on Bihar Diwas

New Delhi, Mar 22 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday wished people of Bihar on the occasion of Bihar Diwas.

"Bihar Diwas greetings to the people of Bihar," Modi tweeted.

Bihar Diwas or Bihar Day is observed every year on March 22, marking the formation of the state of Bihar.

It was on this day when the British carved out the state from Bengal Presidency in 1912.
