Modi greets people of Italy on their Republic Day
New Delhi, June 2 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday wished the people of Italy on the occasion of their 69th Republic Day.
"On their Republic Day may greetings and felicitations to the people of Italy," he said in a message.
On June 2, 1946 after the second world war the people of Italy voted against monarchy and the country became a republican statel.
