MODI Fest inaugurated in Bengaluru

New Delhi, June 2 (IBNS): Union Minister of Statistics and Programme Implementation D.V.Sadananda Gowda has inaugurated Making of Developed India Festival - MODI Fest at Malleswaram in Bengaluru on Friday.

The objective of the programme was to communicate, on the occasion of completion of three years in office by the Central Government, to the people about the Union Government’s achievements over the last 3 years and to convey them about the various Government schemes and initiatives.

Releasing a brochure on achievements of the Union Government during last 3 years, Sadananda Gowda said, people of the country have been experiencing overall development achieved by the Union Government and entire world is noticing it.

The Prime Minister desires that elected representatives must go to the people and present before them the details of the development work done by them.

By conducting such programmes people’s feedback and suggestions on different schemes will also be collected, he added.

An exhibition depicting the achievements of the Union Government over last three years was also held on the occasion.
