Modi does not have deeply thought out strategy to deal with Pakistan: Gandhi

London, Aug 24 (IBNS): Attacking Narendra Modi, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Friday said the Prime Minister does not follow a 'deeply thought out strategy' in dealing with Pakistan.

"There is no deeply thought out strategy by PM Modi when it comes to Pakistan," Gandhi said.

Speaking at an event organised by the Indian Overseas Congress , Gandhi said: "Doklam is not an isolated issue. It was a part of a sequence of events, it was a process. Prime Minister is episodic. He views Doklam as an event. If he was carefully watching the process, he could've stopped it.The truth is the Chinese are still in Doklam today."

Attacking the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Gandhi said it is trying to change the nature of India.

"RSS is trying to change the nature of India. Other parties haven't tried to capture India's institutions. RSS's idea is similar to the idea of Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab world," he said.

Targeting the Central government, Gandhi said: "If you understand deeply the design of India, you will see that we are punching below our weight. I don't see India maximising it's power."

"By creating divisions between 1.3billion people, India's strengths are reduced," he said.
