Modi campaigns in Mumbai, slams Congress

Mumbai, Oct 4 (IBNS): Commencing his campaign in poll-bound Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said he need to usher in a new era of economic development for Mumbai and Maharashtra.

He said Mumbai should decide the fate of the Maharashtra in the upcoming polls.

"We need to usher in a new era of economic development for Mumbai and Maharashtra," Modi said while campaigning in Mumbai on Saturday.

"Mumbai is a mini-India...our mantra is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. We want to take everyone together and work for development here," he said.

Slamming the ruling Congress party of the state, he said: "The nation has changed. Our nation is youthful today. We need to understand the aspirations of these people..Those who have ruled here for 15 years did not understand the youth of the nation."

" It is time for Mumbai to decide to whom the responsibility of Maharashtra be given to," Modi said.
