Moderate quake jolts Kashmir
Srinagar, Mar 6 (IBNS): A moderate earthquake measuring 4.8 magnitude on the Richter scale shook Jammu and Kashmir valley on Monday, triggering panic among people.
According to the Indian Met Department, the quake struck the Kashmir region at around 08:14 am.
The epicentre of the earthquake has been determined at Latitude 35.7 N and Longitude 74.0 E, with a depth of 50 km.
There is no immediate report of any casualty or damage to property.
