Mexico City, June 9 (IBNS): In a significant move, Mexico has extended its support for India to become a member in the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).

Indian PM Narendra Modi is currently visiting the nation as a part of his five-nation tour.

Modi thanked the President for his support.

Modi said he  values its friendship with the Mexican President.

"We are meeting for the third time in last two years. I truly value your friendship Mr. President," Modi said.

" We have agreed to develop a roadmap of concrete outcomes to upgrade our ties to a Strategic Partnership," he said.

Before reaching Mexico, Modi visited the US.
