Patna, Dec 30 (The Bihar Post/ IBNS): Maoists raided a block town in Bihar and killed a close kin of BJP lawmaker (MLC) in a late night raid on Saturday.

The incident took place at Deo town in Bihar’s Aurangabad district on Saturday night.

Police said armed squads of the Maoists numbering over 500 attacked a village close to Deo Town and killed the law maker’s uncle.

They also blew up his home by planting bombs and burnt his tractors and vehicles before retreating.

The rebels also set a fire around 10 vehicles at the local town before fleeing the scene and warned of more such attacks in future.

“This is just a trailer, we will set the entire village on fire soon,” Maoist warned before fleeing the scene, according to lawmaker Rajan Kumar Singh.
