Man arrested for killing wife and two children

Sitamarhi/UNI: A person killed his wife and two minor children at Bajpatti Got village under Bajpatti police station area in Sitamarhi district today.

Police said here that one Kamlesh Chaudhary, native of Bajpatti Got village, killed his wife Shila Devi and son Praveen Kumar with sharp edged weapon. He also strangulated six months old daughter, killing her instantly and escaped after the incident.

"Kamlesh was arrested on the basis of information given to police who reached on the spot soon after receipt of the incident", police said adding that bodies had been sent for postmortem. Kamlesh was stated to be a mentally deranged person, police stated.
