Kolkata, Dec 10 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday wished External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj speedy recovery.

"Wish a speedy and full recovery for @SushmaSwaraj Ji after her surgery at AIIMS," Banerjee tweeted.

Sushma Swaraj underwent kidney transplant at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday, reports said.

On November 16, she tweeted that she was admitted to AIIMS because of kidney failure and was undergoing transplantation.

Swaraj, who is a diabetic, was admitted to the hospital on November seven with failing kidneys.
