New Delhi, Mar 28 (IBNS): A day after holding meetings with host of opposition leaders, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief, Mamata Banerjee, will meet three rebel Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders in the national capital on Wednesday, media reports said.

Banerjee is expected to meet BJP leaders Yashwant Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha and Arun Shourie.

All the three leaders have been vocal against the ruling BJP in recent times.

Yashwant Sinha, the former Union Finance Minister, had criticised incumbent FM Arun Jaitley over his running of the department.

Both Sinha and Jaitley were engaged into verbal attacks against each other.

Jaitley had also alluded to Sinha as having aspirations to become the FM of the country even at the age of 80.

BJP's Lok Sabha MP Shatrughan Sinha has been tweeting on a regular basis to criticise the BJP government.

He has also accused the saffron party of "arrogance" and "overconfidence", while reacting to his party's twin defeats in the Uttar Pradesh by-polls.

Banerjee, who is a strong proponent of a collective opposition at the national level, met leaders of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Shiv Sena, Samajwadi Party (SP), DMK in the parliament's central hall on Tuesday.

She has pitched in the united opposition by urging all parties to come together to defeat the BJP in 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

The TMC supremo even urged all parties to support the political outfits which are dominant in respective states, a strategy Banerjee feels could uninstall the Modi government.

While asked about whether she would like to meet Congress Chairperson Sonia Gandhi during her four-day visit to Delhi, the WB CM said she will do once the veteran recovers from ailment.

In a later development reported by some newspapers, Sonia has expressed her wish to meet the TMC chief on Wednesday.

Banerjee is also expected to meet Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday evening, according to media reports.
