Mamata Banerjee attends TDCB foundation day at Kalimpong

Kolkata, Sept 24 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday attended the second foundation day of Tamang Development and Cultural Board at Kalimpong.

"I participated in the 2nd Foundation Day celebration of the Tamang Development and Cultural Board at Kalimpong," her Facebook post read.

Banerjee laid the foundation stone for a new hostel in Mirik.

"Foundation stone of a new Tamang Youth Hostel at Mirik, coming up with State Government assistance, was laid on the occasion. Fund for this youth hostel and other development activities was given to Tamang Board today," the post read.

Banerjee said that she wants peace in the hills and wished the Tamang people the same.
