Hyderabad/UNI: A major fire broke out at a cracker shop in the Suncity area of Rajenderanagar in RangaReddy district on Saturday morning.

According to the police, the fire originated in a temporary firecracker shop and quickly spread to a neighboring food court, leading to a cooking gas cylinder blast that further ignited three additional shops.

Upon receiving the alert, four fire tenders rushed to the scene and successfully extinguished the flames.

Police suspect that an electrical short circuit may have triggered the fire.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway, the police added.
