Maharashtra: Seven drown in Nashik

Seven persons drowned in separate incidents in Nashik and surrounding area on Thursday during immersion of Lord Ganesh idols.

All seven bodied were recovered on Friday.

According to police , four labourers died when they slipped in Godavari river during Ganesh idol immersion on Thursday.

All the four bodies were recovered by the fire brigade from the Godavari river near Talkuteshwar bridge on Friday.

In Nashik road area three youth drowned in the Waldevi river on Thursday evening during the Ganesh idol immersion.

Two bodies were recovered on Thursday night, while one body was recovered on Friday.
