Maharashtra: Robbers decamp with jewellery, other items worth Rs 20 lakh in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Jul 8 (UNI) Police registered a case against unknown robbers, who broke open a two-storeyed bungalow and robbed gold ornaments, silver articles and a new luxury car, total worth Rs 20 lakh on early Monday morning at Balaji Park in Jaragnagar Nagar, a sub-urb of the city.

According to Juna Rajwada police, owner Nikhil Uttam Mule (30) had gone to Solapur for some work.

 

The robbers decamped with gold ornaments, silver articles, Rs 75,000 cash and a luxurious new chase car, total valued at Rs 20 lakh.


A case was registered and further investigation was on, they added.
