Maharashtra: Parents sickness drives man to commit suicide

Thane/UNI: A 23 year old man from Gayatri Nagar of Nagaon in Bhiwandi committed suicide on Saturday following the illness of both his parents.

The Shanti Nagar police have registered a case of accidental death the police said on Sunday.

The police said that the deceased Mangesh Patil was concerned as his father fell ill and lost his eyesight and his mother was having severe stomach ache since the last five months.

He was the sole bread winner of the family and he could not not take it anymore. Being totally depressed he hanged himself by the ceiling in his house on Saturday and ended his life the police said.

The police also said that he was under extreme mental tension in the recent past.
