Maharashtra: Four killed, three critically hurt in head-on collision in Nashik

Nashik, Feb 25 (UNI) Four persons were killed and three sustained grievous injuries when their car collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction near Chondi ghat on Malegaon-Manmad road of this district.

According to the Malegaon police, the incident took place on Monday morning when the car carrying seven passengers was heading towards Pune and at that moment a speedy truck was coming from the opposite direction.

The roving truck dashed the four wheeler and impact of the collision killed two woman and two children on the spot whereas imparted serious wounds to other three victims, said police.

A police case has been registered and efforts are underway to nab the absconding truck driver,informed police.
