Maharashtra: Chemical factory fire injures 13

Palghar, Mar 9 (IBNS): A blast followed by a massive fire hit a chemical factory in  Maharashtra's Palghar area on Thursday, leaving 13 people injured, media reports said.

The blast reportedly took place at around 11: 15 pm.

Fire engines rushed to the spot immediately after the incident.

Manjunath Singe, Superintendent of Police, Palghar told media that there were no casualty in the incident.

The cause of the mishap is still not known.

Tremors caused by the blast was heard 12 kmn away in places like  Palghar, Mahim, Boisar and surrounding areas
