LS polls : Shiv Sena declares candidates list for Marathwada

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Mar 22 (UNI) Shiv Sena on Friday announced their candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha election to be held in Marathwada region on April 18 and 23.

Of eight seats in Marathwada, Shiv sena will contest in Aurangabad, Parbhani, Osmanabad and Hingoli while BJP will contest in Jalna, Beed, Latur and Nanded seats.

The four candidates from Marathwada region includes MP Chandrakant Khaire for Aurangabad seat, sitting MP Sanjay Jadhav for Parbhani, and present Nanded sena MLA Hemant patil will contest from Hingoli seat while Osmanabad sitting MP Ravindra Gaikwad has dropped from the list and Om Raje Nimbalkar Osmanabad will be new a face.

Khaire, have defected congress nominees A R Antuly, Ramkrishna Baba Patil, Uttamsinh Pawar and Nitin Patil in 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014 lok sabha elections respectively.

Shiv Sena minister, Subhas Desai on Friday announced 21 candidates in Mumbai.

Of 48 lok sabha seats in Maharashtra, BJP will contest 25 seats while Shiv Sena will contest 23 seats.
