LS polls counting: Modi storm sweeps India

As per the trends at 3 pm, the NDA is ahead in 337 seats while the Congress-led UPA, which ruled the nation for the past 10 years, was leading at 58 setas.

Other parties are currently leading in 148 seats.

The BJP alone is ahead in 285 seats with Modi winning both in Varanasi and Vadodara seats.

The Congress is ahead in 45 seats.

Among the other major parties, Arvind Kejriwal's AAP, which had created a storm in the Lok Sabha polls, is currently ahead in only four seats.

The AIADMK is ahead in 38 seats,

The TMC is ahead in 34 seats.

The BJD is leading in 16 seats.

The TRS is leading in 12 seats while the SP is ahead in 6 seats.

In the politically crucial Uttar Pradesh, the BJP is ahead in 72 seats while the SP is ahead in six seats.

After trailing initially, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi is leading in Amethi seat. BJP's Smriti Irani gave him a good fight.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has won from Rae Bareli seat by 461093  seats.

SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav is ahead by 1,07,399 votes in Azamgarh.

BJP president Rajnath Singh is also leading in Lucknow seat.

In Gandhinagar, BJP leader LK Advani won by 538643  votes.

BJP leader Susjma Swaraj also son from Vidisha seat.

However, former UP CM  Mayawati's BSP has been wiped out in the polls.

  However, Mamata Banerjee's wave continued in West Bengal with her TMC ahead in 34 seats while Left Front is leading in only 2 seat while Congress is ahead in 4. The BJP is ahead in four seats.

Former Railway Minister and Trinamool Congress candidate from Barrackpore Dinesh Trivedi won by a margin of over 1 lakh votes.

Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee is leading i the Diamond Harbour seat.
