LS polls: 15 nominations rejected in Baramulla constituency

Srinagar/IBNS: At least 15 nomination papers of candidates in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla have been found invalid in the ongoing Lok Sabha polls after the scrutiny process following the Election Commission of India norms.

Returning Officer Minga Sherpa has accepted 23 nominations as valid in Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency.

The Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir has five Parliamentary constituencies and is voting in the first five phases.

Baramulla will go into voting on May 20, the fifth phase of the LS polls.

The results of all phases will be declared on June 4.
